Max Verstappen sealed a home win in front of a sea of orange support at the FORMULA 1 DUTCH GRAND PRIX 2022
Verstappen secured his fourth consecutive victory to the delight of the home crowd, the best run of his career. He held first place after starting from pole and then extended his lead until the pitstops. With the Mercedes on an alternate strategy, Verstappen had it all to do, especially with a late safety car creating a strategic-dilemma. Verstappen took the chequered flag first, overtaking Hamilton and storming to his 10th win of the season. With seven races remaining, Verstappen has a chance to take the all-time record of 13 wins in a season, currently held by Schumacher and Vettel.
